Completing 4 years in the US Navy, including a Vietnam tour, Lee Stilwell settled in Fremont in 1969 with his wife Betty, where they raised their two children Tonya and Mark. He started his career with United Airlines in Maintenance and over the years reached the level of International Customer Support Manager. After a 32-year career with United, Lee opted for an early retirement so he could pursue real estate on a full time basis. It was an easy transition as he was able to apply his acquired & inherited skills of honesty, integrity, problem solving, and negotiating along with his sheer determination to do whatever necessary to achieve the desired results for his clients. Entrepreneurial in spirit, while at United, Lee also founded an interior design business with his wife Betty; adding experience which today helps him set the stage for his selling clients.
Determined to be the best in his field, Lee continually educates himself on the latest cutting-edge technology and marketing methods. Furthermore, he is a student of the real estate industry and is intuitive as to the needs of the buyers and sellers, insuring that his clients receive the highest level of service the industry has to offer.
A great communicator because he listens and cares, Lee is sensitive to the needs of others, although he can be relentless when it comes to getting what's best for his clients. Exceeding expectations and a client's complete satisfaction are Lee's goals.
After joining Coldwell Banker, his first year, Lee was selected for the Northern California Rookie of the Year award. He became a Top Producer based on sales and is a member of Coldwell Bankers prestigious Presidents Circle, a group that consists of the top 9% of Coldwell Bankers Realtors Nationally. Wishing to be more beneficial to the maturing members of the community, Lee has earned, through advanced training, the national designation of Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES).
Lee is also active in the Fremont Rotary, Sunrise Chapter; a international group of volunteering professionals, dedicated to enhancing the community and the lives of people who live there. In fact, Lee feels that the Rotary Internationals motto of "Service Above Self" is also the best way operate his real estate business.
